Coach Strick

About The Owner

Isaac Strickland is a native of College Park, GA a city located on the southside of the Metropolitan Atlanta area. In 2020, he relocated to Raleigh, NC and made the triangle area home. Isaac Strickland began his coaching career in 2015 at Talladega College as a student assistant coach for current Texas College head coach Matthew Cross. Coach Cross saw something in Isaac he did not envision for himself which was the immense ability to lead others. As an assistant coach for Talladega, Coach Strick help lead the tornadoes to 3 consecutive conference titles, 4 consecutive trips to the NAIA National tournament, 1 final four appearance and became the first HBCU to hold a #1 ranking in 50 years, not to mention being nationally ranked in the NAIA Men's Division 1 top #25 four consecutive seasons. Shortly after his stint at Talladega College on the men's side, coach also held positions at Talladega college on the Women's side where he helped lead the lady Tornadoes to a top #25 ranking, and finally to conclude his college coaching career  at NCAA's Division II Western New Mexico University as a Men's graduate assistant coach. Isaac Strickland is what you call a gym rat or a basketball junky, he cares about empowering the youth and giving all those that he coaches the best opportunity to achieve their dreams. He and his wife Alyson have two beautiful children, Miko and Shiloh.
